Fruit Share
Peaceful Belly has left its little orchard on Hill road but we still wanted to offer our CSA member wonderful organic fruit. This CSA season you can purchase a fruit share from Eagle Creek Orchards. We are happy to be bring you their fruit. The fruit will be at you CSA pick points.
eaglecreekorchards.com is a 1100 tree orchard is located in peaceful Eagle Valley, East of Baker City, Oregon. The fruit trees are watered from Eagle Creek which flows out of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. All our fruit is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth. Owner/ operators of Eagle Creek Orchard, Rob and Linda Cordtz enjoy working in the orchard in beautiful Eagle Valley while providing the people of Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho with wholesome, fresh, nutriment dense fruit.
A fruit share is a weekly supply of tree ripened, hand picked, nutriment dense, organic fruit. Our season runs eleven weeks starting around mid-July and continues to the first week of October depending on the weather. Which fruit you receive will depend on what we feel is ripe and will very throughout the season. Fruit will be a mix of peaches, apricots, plums, pears, Asian pears, or apples.
We offer two sizes of fruit shares, a Half Share good for one to two folks and a Full Share which is enough for two serious fruit eaters or a family of four.
Half Share 3-4 lbs per week, eleven week season $120
Full Share 7-8 lbs per week, eleven week season $240
Special bulk orders are available for your canning and drying needs. Please make you fruit share checks to Eagle Creek Orchards but you can send them in with your CSA payments.
Flowers
Would you like to get a bouquet of flowers every week with your share? this year we are growing so many flowers and we are offering a deal for the flower shares this year. The flower shares consists of a bouquet of flowers for 10 weeks of the CSA. the price is a cheap $7 a bouquet making the whole share $70. Wow, what fun it is to brighten your house with flowers every week. If you would like to join the flower share send a check to us and we will sign you up.
Wine share
For the last 4 years we have offered the wine share with Snake River Winery. Many of you have done this and love it. So, I will explain it for some of you who have not done it. For 10 weeks you will receive one of the many wines made by Snake River Winery. All of the Grapes are grown and processed by Scott Deselhort at his winery in Parma. Scott makes beautiful wine and is dedicated to sustainability in wine production. He is transitioning some of is vineyard organic and he also grows rare varieties that do well in our climate. the wine share is a deal. Scott offers 10 bottles of wine for $100. this is a great opportunity to try some really great Idaho wine for a wonderful price. If you would like to join send a check to us and we will sign you up.

Hidden Springs
Pick up your veggies at the Hidden Springs community barn. This is a amazing location and so scenic. Starting May 19, Wednesday nights from 4 until 6.
Defoggi’s house 1210 N 16th St ( North End)
Starting May 19th. Wednesdays: 4 until 6pm. This is a hoot of a time. Laughter, sharing and true community are found here.
Jan and Jades house 1115 E. State St- Off of Warm Springs Ave (East End)
Starting May 20. Thursdays from 4:30until 6pm. I don’t understand this amazing pick up. No one forgets and they all bring their own bags, they have book swaps and so much more. I have to say this east end pick up has is all together.
Thursday Night Market Down Town
Starting May 20th, Thursday nights 5 until 7. Come visit the new market on 8th street. Pick up your CSA, get a bottle of wine and enjoy down town. Our booth is located on 8th street and Idaho.
