Purchasing Chickens
Peaceful Belly believes that all farms need animals to help build the fertility of the soil and help in the bio-diversity of the farm. That is why we raise pasture poultry, or chicken raised on eating fresh greens with getting plenty of exercise. We believe strongly that if you raise animals for meat they should be raised as humanely as possible and deserve to live a good life. Our chickens have great chicken lives. We raise red cornish cross chickens. These are a type of meat chicken that has not been genetically bred to grow fast and have large breasts.
We will have chicken for sale at the Saturday Market in July.
