GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS
Check out our volunteer opportunities at Peaceful Belly Farm!
Come spend a day with us and become part of the living story of Peaceful Belly Farm. Volunteers help harvest vegetables, tend gardens, pull weeds, and care for the land that feeds our community. Families are welcome, and children may participate when accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Volunteer days are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The work is physical and takes place outdoors, so please come prepared with sun protection, closed-toe shoes, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
This volunteer program is made possible through our nonprofit, Polum Bolum. Through Polum Bolum, we are able to create opportunities for people of all ages to connect with the land, learn where food comes from, and participate in building a more resilient local food system. Your time in the fields helps support a larger vision of community nourishment, education, and stewardship.
In exchange for your time, you'll take home fresh vegetables from the farm, and more often than not, you'll be invited to gather around our table for a farm lunch. Volunteering at Peaceful Belly is about more than growing food—it's about sharing stories, making friends, learning new skills, and experiencing the simple joy of working together under an open sky. Whether you come for a few hours or spend the whole day, you'll leave with dirt on your hands, food in your basket, and a deeper connection to the earth and the community that cares for it. We would love to welcome you.
